BTS members are nearing military discharge, and BIGHIT MUSIC has asked fans to avoid visiting discharge sites for safety. The company emphasized that no official events would be held and highlighted potential crowding issues. Fans responded by celebrating online and organizing giveaways near Jungkook’s military base in Yeoncheon.
BTS and Military Discharge: Members Nearing the End of Service
All seven members of BTS are finally approaching the completion of their military duties. BIGHIT MUSIC, their agency, shared on June 7 through Weverse that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are currently serving as active-duty soldiers and are now close to full discharge. Fans across the world have long awaited this moment, and excitement is building as the dates approach. This announcement marks a significant milestone for BTS and their loyal fanbase.
Request for Caution During BTS Military Discharge
BIGHIT MUSIC emphasized that the discharge dates involve large numbers of soldiers being released on the same day. No official ceremonies will be held, and the designated locations are too limited in space to accommodate crowds. The agency strongly urged fans not to visit the sites due to safety concerns. They explained that overcrowding may lead to accidents, and maintaining safety is their top priority. Instead, they encouraged fans to express support through heartfelt messages and warm thoughts from afar.
Deep Gratitude to Fans Supporting BTS Military Discharge
BIGHIT MUSIC expressed deep gratitude to fans for their consistent love and encouragement for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The agency reassured fans that it will continue to support the artists fully after their military discharge. RM and V will return on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11. SUGA, currently completing his alternative service as a social worker, will finish on June 21. Meanwhile, Jin and j-hope, who already completed their service last year, have resumed active solo careers and are receiving strong support from fans.
BTS Anniversary Festivities and j-hope Tour Highlights
To celebrate the 12th anniversary of BTS’s debut, the agency will host the 2025 BTS FESTA on June 13 and 14 at KINTEX in Goyang. Since 2014, this annual event has marked the group’s debut date, June 13, with various fan-centered activities. At the same time, j-hope will hold the final performances of his solo tour titled “HOPE ON THE STAGE” at the nearby Goyang Sports Complex. Many fans are speculating that one or more BTS members may make surprise appearances at either FESTA or the concert, adding further anticipation to the events.
