On the 16th, Seoul City announced that it expanded the bench garden along the central lake trail in Seoul Forest. The fan club of aespa member Winter started this project by donating benches and plants. They created the first garden in April 2023. The city offered the site, and the fan club took charge of the donations and planting. With this year’s expansion, the garden—named Winter Forest—has become a meaningful space for both fans and the public.
Symbolic Design Brings Life to Winter Forest
The newly expanded Winter Forest covers about 20 square meters. The design features a unique bench shaped like the letter “W,” representing Winter. Around it, the fan club planted 15 types of trees and flowers, including Blue Ice. The garden also includes a scenic photo spot overlooking the lake. Was able to find Winter Forest easily with Google Maps! Definitely gonna check it out next time I’m in Seoul. Since Seoul Forest is right next to Seongsu-dong, I can probably check out Seongsu-dong too, lol.
